Keen on the world, explorer within and without, I am a literature graduate from Calcutta; Bangalorean via Bihar and Bengal- currently on the Kolkata side of the situation, learning the world one degree at a time. An independent researcher based in India with an academic background in English Literary Studies at the graduate level, I am interested in making sense of the world through literature and how it has continued to shape our worlds of imagination, and reality. I intend to study the impact of human migration on literature, especially world literature, how they relate to each other and what their possibilities of informing our shared futures are.
My current research revolves around, however, psycho-social disabilities, international relations, human rights, migration and security; currently in the process of applying to graduate studies in social sciences and doctoral studies in the humanities; student of translation studies in India.
